Frame-type plug-in units

Frame-type plug-in units are intended for additional protection of boards installed in 19' subracks or cases. Additionally, units of this type can be used to group PCBs responsible for the same action next to each other in 1 unit, which may facilitate service in the future (replacement of the entire unit without interference in other elements of the subrack in case of failure). Mechanical dimensions of the units are in accordance with IEC 60297-3-101 / IEEE 1101.1/11. Plug-in units can be divided into the following three groups:

  • Frame-type plug-in units PRO available dimensions (for ready kits or self-built units) 3 U and 6 U, 8 ... 42 HP, available unshielded or EMC shielded versions. perforated or plain side panels installation of one or more boards or connectors
  • Frame-type plug-in PRO units with hood available dimensions (for ready kits or self-built units) 3 U i 6 U, 5 ... 14 HP, available unshielded or EMC shielded versions. only one can be mounted with one connector
  • Frame-type plug-in units HF available dimensions (for ready kits or self-built units) 3 U, 7 ... 28 HP, shielding prior to HF signals perforated or plain profiles installation of one or more boards or connectors
